here (part 2)

1. They lock their gates from the inside. There's a small square hole where you can put your hand to lock or unlock the padlock. It is so difficult at first! Takes a lot of practice.

2. They really dress well here. People are mostly in shoes (stilletos for women!) and longsleeves (corporate attire). I feel so underdressed (too casual) or overdressed (too formal) most of the time. They're somehow in the middle - casual dressy or smart casual or casual chic. And they all somehow fit together in the environment/setting. Even if they're driving motorbikes.

3. They can wear silk. It's not humid here. Weather is really good, and it's not so dusty or windy. It doesn't smell so polluted either.

4. My office has really nice classrooms! And one of my teachers uses a notepad through a computer and a stylus then projected. It was really good. Imported teachers = malaysians.

5. We drink coffee, tea most of the time. Tea is just water and a tea bag. Filipinos really have a sweet tooth - sweet everything! Here, the focus is mostly on the natural flavor of the food.

5. Most people here are either buddhist or atheist. Athough there are a lot of pagodas, a "normal person" here doesn't have a religion.
